post 2: "LOOK BEYOND WHAT YOU SEE"

General Conference is full of persuasion, successful, meaningful persuasion. This last weekend, this was once again made prevalent. While each of the talks given were persuasive in their own way, for me, the one given by Elder W. Craig Zwick stood out a little more than the others. Simply because it has been something that has been on my mind recently. In the world today, it is extremely easy to judge others by a simple glance or scroll through a social media feed. Elder Zwick is persuasive simply because he chose a subject that so many of us can relate to. No matter how great of a person you are, you've undoubtedly judged someone strictly based off of appearance. Another relevant and successful persuasive tool that Zwick used was the use of the Savior throughout his talk. He successfully related the love and kindness we should have for others to the type of love that the Savior has for everyone. By using the Savior, a well understood being in the Latter-day Saint faith, he successfully draws the audience in for the long run. Not only this, but he uses a number of other persuasive aspects that effectively grasp the audience's attention.
